Alfred Adler Center International (AACI)

The AACI hosts the Austrian Association for Individual Psychology (OEVIP), which was founded by Alfred Adler more than 100 years ago. Through the sociopolitical commitment of its members, individual psychology has received a considerable boost. To this day, it is considered one of the three most important schools of depth psychology. The exhibition “Disruption and Continuity of Individual Psychology in Vienna. The Time between 1930 and 1960” is dedicated to the pioneers. Due to the expulsion and assassination of the Jewish individual psychologists, the Austrian association came to an end. However, a few individual psychologists could continue their work after 1945.
