Alfred Adler Center International (AACI)
Das AACI ist Sitz des Österreichischen Vereins für Individualpsychologie, der 1912 von Alfred Adler gegründet wurde. Durch gesellschaftspolitisches Engagement der Mitglieder erfuhr die Individualpsychologie große Bedeutung. Sie zählt noch heute zu den drei wichtigsten tiefenpsychologischen Schulen.
In diesem Jahr lädt das AACI zu einem Abend ein unter dem Titel „Vergessen, Erinnern, Geschichte(n) schreiben: individuelle und kollektive Verarbeitung von Kriegs- und Verlusterfahrungen“.
OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION ‘FOR THE CHILD’ (AT 6 PM)
The exhibition commemorates the Kindertransports to London in 1938–1939, which brought 10,000 children to safety from persecution by the Nazi regime. The exhibition includes pictures of objects that the children took with them on their journey to an unknown future. Milli Segal will guide you through the exhibition.

Maria Weissenböck will read from her translation of the ‘Amadoka Epic’ by Ukrainian author Sofia Andrukhovych. The novel trilogy spans a century of Ukrainian history and tells of the painful process of remembering.
