Brennpunkt° – Museum of Heating Customs
Discover the social and historical transformation of heating culture in everyday city life through unique objects, and learn interesting facts about the ‘Energy of the Future – the Future of Energy’. Everybody is welcome to take part in the experimental workshops powered by Science Pool and to try out interactive games.
HIGHLIGHT TOURS (ONGOING)
Discover the highlights of the Brennpunkt° permanent exhibition including the ‘Energy of the Future – the Future of Energy’ room on a tour. You can also participate in interactive games, such as boiling water using only your muscle power, finding out how the heat pump works, and trying many more activities.
CHILDREN'S SPECIAL – ‘ENERGY FROM THE COLD’ (EVERY 30 MINUTES)
In addition to the museum tour, you and your children can explore what dry ice can do together with the science educators from the Science Pool. This workshop is all about carbon dioxide. CO₂ can be frozen and is then called ‘dry ice’ – it is much colder than normal ice and does not melt. Very cool!
