Kunsthalle Wien Karlsplatz

Kunsthalle Wien is the City of Vienna’s primary institution for contemporary art. At its locations in the Museumsquartier and on Karlsplatz, it presents exhibitions alongside a varied programme of events and educational activities.

In the glass pavilion of the Kunsthalle Wien Karlsplatz, the exhibition ‘Lives and Works in Vienna: Contemporary Art from Vienna’ brings together works by artists who live and work in Vienna – with a focus on sculpture. The sculptural works even extend into the outdoor space.
