Architekturzentrum Wien
Das Architekturzentrum Wien (Az W) im MuseumsQuartier ist das österreichische Architekturmuseum. Es zeigt, diskutiert und erforscht, wie Architektur und Stadtentwicklung das tägliche Leben aller Menschen prägen.
Das Az W präsentiert die permanente Schausammlung „Hot Questions – Cold Storage“ zur österreichischen Architektur und aktuell zwei Sonderausstellungen.
„Vom Besteck zur Fertighaussiedlung: Der Architekt und Designer Carl Auböck“: Anlässlich des 100. Geburtstages von Carl Auböck und der Übernahme seines Nachlasses in die Sammlung des Az W gibt die Ausstellung Einblicke in sein kosmopolitisches Leben und Schaffen.
Alle zwei Jahre stellt die Ausstellung „Europas beste Bauten. Mies van der Rohe Award“ herausragende Architekturprojekte aus Europa in den Mittelpunkt.
