The Künstlerhaus: a central meeting place for artists, for exchanging ideas, learning about contemporary art, and for engaging in serious discourse.

Taking the song 'Imagine' by Yoko Ono and John Lennon as its starting point, the exhibition 'Imagining Piece' poses the question: Can imagination change reality? Inspired by Ono's ‘Grapefruit’ book, in which the seemingly impossible becomes tangible through imagination, the exhibited works explore this potential within contemporary art. From 180 submissions, 12 positions were selected – many of them interactive. All of the works spark active participation and co-creation – and perhaps imagining the unthinkable.
