Belvedere – Upper Belvedere

The Upper Belvedere is one of the world's oldest public art museums. It presents masterpieces ranging from the Middle Ages to the present day, including Gustav Klimt's famous 'Kiss'. The presentation of the collection focuses on the interaction between art and society. Influenced by political and social environments, migration, international networks, and also by economic conditions, artistic production reflects the complexity of its time.
