Wieden District Museum
The Wieden District Museum deals with the most important chapters in the history of Vienna’s oldest suburb. In the former shower room, which has been preserved in its original state, the museum presents a Viennese speciality: the ‘Tröpferlbäder’ (public shower baths). The exhibition shows how people used to shower and what the City of Vienna is doing to promote hygiene and health.
