Old City Hall – District Council of Innere Stadt and Bank Austria Salon

The Old City Hall has been owned by the City of Vienna since 1316 and has served as the seat of the City Council and the Mayor of Vienna for over 550 years. The building has undergone several reconstructions and extensions. In 1885, the mayor and the elected city council moved to the current City Hall on the Vienna Ring Road. Today, the Old City Hall is home to several institutions, including the District Council of Innere Stadt, Vienna's first municipal district. Visitors can gain an excellent insight into the building's history by exploring the Coat of Arms Hall and the former Council Chamber.

The Belle Etage Baroque Hall, now the Bank Austria Salon, will also be open to visitors.
