Old City Hall – District Council of Innere Stadt and Bank Austria Salon
Das Alte Rathaus ist seit 1316 im Besitz der Stadt Wien, es diente über 550 Jahre lang als Sitz von Stadtrat und Bürgermeister. Immer wieder wurde das Haus umgebaut und erweitert. 1885 erfolgte der Umzug von Bürgermeister und gewähltem Gemeinderat ins derzeitige Rathaus am Ring. Heute ist im Alten Rathaus unter anderem die Bezirksvorstehung der Inneren Stadt untergebracht. Besonders der Wappensaal und der ehemalige Gemeinderatssitzungssaal ermöglichen einen guten Einblick in die Vergangenheit.
Geöffnet sind diesmal auch die Ratssäle, der heutige Bank Austria Salon.

MMag. Markus Figl will give an overview of the history of the building and will also go into the present-day use of the staterooms by the administration of the first district.
MUSICAL PERFORMANCE IN THE BANK AUSTRIA SALON (AT 8.15 PM AND AT 11.15 PM)
The Baroque Hall of the Bank Austria Salon opens its doors from 6 pm to 12 am and offers a special treat for music lovers’ ears: Enjoy a piano accompaniment by an exceptionally talented young artist, at 8.15 pm and 11.15 pm (90 guests maximum).
