Kunsthalle Wien Museumsquartier
Kunsthalle Wien is the City of Vienna’s primary institution for contemporary art. At its locations in the Museumsquartier and on Karlsplatz, it presents exhibitions alongside a varied programme of events and educational activities.
The exhibition ‘Lives and Works in Vienna: Contemporary Art from Vienna’ showcases Viennese contemporary art. At both Kunsthalle Wien venues, visitors can discover more than 130 artworks by 56 artists, including painting, sculpture, installation, drawing, photography, performance, sound, film, and video.
SHORT GUIDED TOURS (AT 8 PM AND AT 8.45 PM)
During short guided tours, visitors will gain an insight into Vienna’s vibrant art scene (German/English).
GLITTER WORKSHOP (7 PM-9.30 PM)
In the Kunsthalle Wien studio, visitors of all ages are invited to try out relief and embossing techniques and create glittering works of art (German/English).
