Kingdom of Railways
Visit the Kingdom of Railways in Vienna's Prater! The main attraction is the unique model railway, which shows the whole of Vienna with its most significant landmarks and characteristic cityscapes in miniature, covering an area of 270 square metres. There is also a historical Viennese tram, where visitors can learn about different technical functions in the driver's cab.
The exhibition is complemented by a garden railway, informative displays on the history and technology of the railway, and numerous details that bring the development of rail transport in Vienna to life. This year’s special exhibition is entitled ‘History of the European Railway’.
For families and children, there are also interactive experience zones and other attractions available, which add variety to the museum visit.
