mumok – Museum moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien

mumok is presenting two special exhibitions spanning all levels of the museum: ‘Terminal Piece’, a group exhibition introducing a new approach to exhibition-making and collection management at mumok, and ‘Figure of the Child’, the artist Tolia Astakhishvili’s first solo museum exhibition.

DISCO DRAWING WITH LIVE VISUALS (6 PM-11 PM)

The mumok cinema is transformed into a colourful dance floor, and the walls become moving sculptures. Grab a pair of headphones, follow the beats and sounds, and let your pen whirl freely across the canvas.

LIGHT TRAILS (6 PM-11 PM)

At the various interactive displays, you can have a go at collaborative painting. Create a collaborative artwork on the illuminated easels, with music in your ears and using only non-verbal communication, either in pairs or in groups.

OPEN WORKSHOP (6 PM-11 PM)

Use kinetic sand to stimulate your sensory perception and mould your own sculptures. Alternatively, you can capture your impressions of the evening on paper using gouache sticks. You are welcome to take your creations home with you afterwards.
