Kunstraum Niederoesterreich

Kunstraum Niederoesterreich is a lively space for experimental contemporary art in Vienna. Its programme consists of exhibitions, performances, and multifaceted discursive and educational formats. The primary focus is to promote time-based media from emerging artists, above all the medium of performance.

The group exhibition ‘Subterranean’ examines the relationship between digital technologies and the human psyche. How do algorithms change our relationship with ourselves and with others? The artists represented in ‘Subterranean’ seek ways out of the digital echo chamber. The installations and videos on display explore alternative forms of social networking.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAMME: TREASURE HUNT AT THE KUNSTRAUM (6 PM-10 PM)

Who can crack the exhibition code? On the occasion of the ‘ORF Long Night of Museums’, the Kunstraum invites children – and anyone else who fancies it – to a night-time scavenger hunt through its current exhibition ‘Subterranean’. Grab a UV torch and find the secret clues!
