Kunstraum Niederoesterreich
Kunstraum Niederoesterreich is a lively space for experimental contemporary art in Vienna. Its primary focus is on time-based media from emerging artists, above all the medium of performance in the context of visual art. The programme consists of exhibitions, performances, and multifaceted educational and discursive formats.
The group exhibition ‘On a Tongue's Tip, at a World's Lip’ is an invitation to reinterpret moments of speechlessness and illegibility as opportunities rather than problems. The figure of interruption serves as a metaphor for forms of expression that reject the social imperatives of efficiency and eloquence. What other words – and worlds – lie hidden in the gaps in our communication? What possibilities for understanding and connection do situations of speechlessness offer?

IN THE PUZZLE ROOM (6 PM-10 PM)
For one night only, the exhibition ‘On a Tongue's Tip, at a World's Lip’ is transformed into a walk-in picture puzzle. Young and old alike can playfully decipher the artworks – as long as the words you are looking for are not staying on the tip of your tongue! Once you have solved the puzzle, you can enjoy your prize melting on your tongue!
