Scouting Museum and Institute of Scouting History
The exhibition ‘Jamboree – the second part’ aims to give an understanding of the fascination of the global gathering of scouts, known as Jamborees, with the help of short stories, accounts based on personal experience and objects. Many hands-on stations invite visitors to discover more than 100 years of Jamboree history.
EXPERIENCE SCOUTING (6 PM-10 PM)
Until 10 pm there will be 20-minute programmes on 'Scouting techniques': Master simple knots, learn how to use a map and compass, or take part in quiz games about scounting. Along with the exhibition, the theme of the Jamboree will also be presented in game form. The programmes for children will be adapted to their ages.
GUIDED TOURS
Guided tours of the exhibition will be offered on a regular basis (EN/DE).
