Special Exhibition ‘20 Years of the Federal Police in Austria’
To celebrate ‘20 Years of the Federal Police in Austria’, the Vienna Police Museum is holding a pop-up exhibition at the Ministry of the Interior. The exhibition focuses on the merger of the Police Forces, the Federal Gendarmerie, the Federal Security Police, and the Criminal Investigators Corps in 2005, and also on the current and future development of the Federal Police.
The special exhibition ‘One Unit. One Mission. 20 Years of the Federal Police in Austria’ is being presented in the Sala Terrena, the historic vaulted hall of the Palais Modena, which was built in the 16th century and now is the seat of the Federal Ministry of the Interior. Come and see objects relating to police work from unusual perspectives, and immerse yourself in the past and present of the Austrian Federal Police!
Please note that access to the exhibition is only possible after passing through security checks, so please allow sufficient time!
