The major autumn exhibition ‘Gothic Modern’ sheds light on the period from 1870 to 1920, during which artists such as Munch, van Gogh, Kollwitz, and Dix consciously drew inspiration from the emotionally charged works of Holbein, Dürer, Cranach, and Baldung Grien.

Also on display: the work of Brigitte Kowanz, photographic works by Jitka Hanzlová, the exhibition ‘The Viennese Bohème’ and, of course, the Batliner collection ‘Monet to Picasso’.
