Austrian Museum of Horticultural History
The museum is home to historical exhibits on the history of horticulture, the art of floristry and public green spaces.
This year, the focus during the ‘ORF Long Night of Museums’ is on the Donaupark and the Kurpark Oberlaa: to mark the 50th and 60th anniversaries of the two Vienna International Garden Shows, the creation and the current use of these recreational areas of the Donaupark and the Kurpark Oberlaa are presented.
A varied programme including a concert by the Donaustadt Music School, puzzles, an Ikebana exhibition by the Austrian Horticultural Society, an open fire in the illuminated garden, and much more will provide additional entertainment.
