MODE WIEN Museum of Fashion

Mode Wien presents a symbiosis of art and fashion in collaboration with the Austrian artist Sabine Wiedenhofer and the pop-up exhibition ‘Fe-Dom’, which explores perception, femininity, and the power of becoming aware of one’s own identity. ‘Women can be moulded, judged, veiled, reduced or turned into images of others’ expectations. Yet their dignity, their inner strength and their very essence remain inviolable,’ says Wiedenhofer. ‘Fe-Dom’ conceives of feminine identity as something independent and unyielding, as an expression of strength, individuality, and self-determined presence, beyond all attributions and performances.
