Augarten Porcelain Museum

The Augarten Porcelain Museum tells the story of a special material: like no other, porcelain reflects the spirit of different times and places.

The current exhibition offers a surprising glimpse into the future and showcases the vibrantly coloured designs of around 1800 – simply modern! The children’s programme centres on the astonishing fashions of Viennese ladies and gentlemen of that era. Come and explore the mysterious studios of the porcelain manufactory at night – with a torch! And at the end of the night, the moon and stars will come out – see for yourself!
