Josefstadt District Museum
The district museum presents two special exhibitions.
‘Palaces and Gardens of Josefstadt – When Splendour Arose and Plants Thrived’ will be complemented by guided tours and the children’s programme ‘Baroque Figures – Cut & Play’.
‘The Harnoncourts and the Concentus Musicus – The Founding Years in Josefstadt, 1953 to 1972’ includes musical excerpts, video interviews and a slideshow featuring photographs from the founding years of the Concentus Musicus. Enjoy a concert by the ensemble ‘Opus ultimum’ on period instruments.
