Magic Set Museum
'Wondrous boxes for learning the spectacular art of magic' – the world's largest collection of magic sets. With more than 3,000 different sets spanning three centuries, the collection is even listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Around 200 showpieces are on display, allowing you to immerse yourself in a world full of fascination and magic. From the first book of magic tricks and the first magic set from the beginning of the 19th century to the most extraordinary new magic sets, everything is explained in detail. The exhibition is rounded off by a showcase of professional magic devices.
Special exhibition, ‘Fantasma Magic’: Roger Dreyer from New York founded Fantasma Magic with his partner Marc Setteducati in 2001. Their production of elaborate and extraordinary magic kits and magic tricks was, and still is, unique, with up to five professional magicians sometimes involved in the design process. In 2006, Dryer opened his first retail store in Manhattan, New York, followed soon after by his Houdini Museum, which boasts an extensive collection of Houdini artefacts. His magic kits are a valuable addition to the Magic Set Museum.
