Vienna Actionism Museum (WAM)

GUIDED TOUR ‘WHAT IS VIENNA ACTIONISM?' (AT 6 PM, AT 7.30 PM, AT 9.30 PM, AT 10.30 PM AND AT 11 PM)

‘VIENNA ACTIONISM FROM THE COLLECTOR'S PERSPECTIVE’ (AT 6.30 PM)

What fascinates an art collector about Vienna Actionism? WAM co-founder and art collector Philipp Konzett gives his view on the exhibition ‘What is Vienna Actionism?'.

PERFORMANCE ‘CHAMBERS III. THROUGH THE SURFACE' (AT 7 PM, AT 8 PM, AT 9 PM AND AT 10 PM)

Mexican performance artist Guadalupe Aldrete, like the Vienna Actionists (above all Günter Brus), sees her body as her field of experimentation, as a rehearsal and a tool. Some elements of the works exhibited in the museum have played an important role in the artist's work for many years. Aldrete will make reference to these in her performance ‘Chambers III. through the surface'.

‘THE IMPACT OF VIENNA ACTIONISM TODAY' (AT 8.30 PM)

During her guided tour of the exhibition, WAM Director Julia Moebus-Puck will refer to contemporary positions influenced by Vienna Actionism and artists who refer to Vienna Actionism.
