Prater Museum

The new Prater Museum offers a fascinating insight into the 250-year-long history of Vienna’s amusement park on three floors, with a cinema, famous characters such as the ‘Watschenmann', Punch and Judy figurines, and Fortuna, or the hidden object painting by artist Olaf Osten.

The Pratermuseum's education team will take you on a journey through history and to the most exciting and most outrageous stories. For Prater fans and people who want to discover this kaleidoscope of Vienna.

GAMES AND FUN – JOY FOR EVERYONE! (AT 7 PM)

A museum in the middle of the Prater: as exciting as a rollercoaster! It goes up and down here, it's brimming and bustling, and everything revolves around the Prater. On animals and people, on superheroes, and on faraway places. Everything is possible in the Prater Museum: a trip to Venice and back, or a rocket ride to the moon.
Laugh, shudder, scream, play, marvel, and much more in the monkey theatre, the flea circus, the duck carousel, or in the clown booth ... You are welcome!
