BELONGING IN THE CONTEXT OF REDESIGN (ONGOING)

As part of the redesign of the Austrian Museum of Folk Life and Folk Art, three pupils worked with the museum team to create a pop-up exhibition on the theme of ‘belonging’. Where do young people feel they belong? What is important to them? Where would they like to be more involved?

WORKSHOP IN THE MUSMIG ROOM (MUSEUM OF MIGRATION) (AT 6.30 PM)

In an interactive workshop starting at 6.30 pm, Natalie Deewan and other Musmig collective members will work together to develop new manifesto strands for a museum of migration in Austria. What should it collect, how should it tell migration stories and integrate them into collective memory structures? The results can be incorporated into the existing Musmig exhibition.
