Favoriten Water Tower
The Favoriten Water Tower is one of the most striking landmarks of industrial historicism and is a listed building. Built in 1898/99, it was originally used to supply drinking water to the higher-lying areas of the tenth and twelfth municipal districts. This task was taken over by the Second Vienna Spring Water Main in 1910, and the water tower ceased to be used for water supply in 1956.
The Wiener Wasser exhibition in the entrance area provides information about water supply in Vienna.
